Here's my issue with the numbers in their survey. It says it was a phone interview. Ok. How many people on here would tell a phone caller who claimed to be conducting a survey how many guns they own or even if they owned guns?

My kids are safe.

I lock them in a safe, well away from my guns.

good point happygeek, I would simply hang up the phone, as I assume most others would do.

If you have kids then either keep the gun on yourself at all times, keep a locked door between the gun and your kid if you are sleeping and leaving the gun on your dresser(a lot of kids kill themselves accidentally with the guns while their parents are sleeping), if you aren't in the room with the gun then either lock it up or unload it.

I prefer my children to be well educated on my loaded guns and to know how to act around firearms. I also expect them to be good shots.

It's better to know you can trust your children to behave properly, safely, and intelligently around guns than to hide your guns from them.
