Introducing the CZ 75 XCR

This gun is a combination of the cz 2075 rami and the cz 75 pcr resulting in a small/light weight gun with a 15+1 capacity. There has also been some other improvements like the czechmate hammer, all cajun gun works internals, pre travel screw in the PCR trigger, FO front sight.

Length is about 6.5 inches, width is 1.150 at the grip screws and the weight is about 23oz's without the mag.

The Rami and the PCR are good guns on there own I just never was fawned of the rami grip and always shot the PCR better. Thing with the PCR was that it shot well and was light weight but the over all size wasn't much different than a full sized gun. So I thought why not get the best of both worlds, tho fitting/milling is required it can be done.

This gun shoots like it's a full sized gun somehow and only has a 3inch barrel, it shoot better than I ever thought it would at longer distances.

It's obviously super-cool,as is, but I'm thinking some checkered rosewood or cocobolo grips would REALLY spruce this baby up. I just put on some Thai-made rosewoods on my CZ75BD, and it classed it up considerably, without being over-the-top gaudy.

Is that hammer on the newest Czechmates?

I've only seen it on the Parrot before.

Interesting as CZ's web store lists it as a SAO hammer yet you have it on a decocker.

Yes it started out as the czechmate SAO hammer but I sent the hammer straight to CGW and he cut the decocker notch along with the groove and holes for the disco. Making it a DA/SA Hammer

Is there enough purchase on the hammer to manually cock it?

Yes you can manually cock the hammer just not decock it by hand but since the PCR is a decocker gun that's not a problem.

Nice job on the conversion, and it is an attractive gun but I don't see the point. How is this an improvement over the PCR?

You have lower velocity and shorter sight radius for the benefit of a couple oz of weight and maybe a slight concealability advantage only if you carry OWB?

I carry my PCR IWB and that solves any concealability problem.

I'm admittedly biased though. I've never been a fan of short barrel guns. I want tthe longest barrel and sight radius that I can get away with.
