I have a Marlin lever in 45-70, 26" barrel, cowboy version. I love the gun but the rear buckhorns are cheaply made and come out of zero easily. I would like to replace the rear and possibly front sights with something more sturdy and that allows quick acquisition but without messing up the historic look of the gun too much. Any suggestions? Not shooting over 100yds in most instances so I prefer quick target acquisition (e.g. loping deer) over long range precision. Thanks in advance.
