Is a fanny pack considered concealed? In Florida?

Wow…this is the last place I expected to hear from the fashion police.

I’m going to suggest to Bianchi that they re-name their fanny packs “Tactical Packs” or TP for short and include an abstract version of popular handgun logos or lightning bolts. “Yo Bubba…throw me my TP and let’s go kick some butt”. It’ll make great video on YouTube. Bet they’ll sell like hot cakes. Remember, you read it here.

When you get to be my age…62...comfort tops fashion every time. And the last time I was concerned about what other people thought of me was…like…never.

If you carry in a fanny pack, consider a secondary way to secure the pack to your belt. I would recommend a small light snap link that is sewn or lashed to the fanny pack where it can't be seen, and is then clipped to your belt.

You must beware of thieves in crowds who can slice through your fanny pack strap with a razor and run off with it. This is bad enough if it contains your wallet, money, camera etc. It's worse if they run off with your gun! That second attachment point will defeat their cut and run theft.
