I've got a Taurus 380. but I don't know if it would be good to carry, is it too fat? too small a bullet? too hard to conceal? I'm not a big guy so I don't know what kind of holster would be best

You will receive any number of answers for that. I also own a PT58. It HAS been used to CCW, when I lived in Maryland. It's as big as many 9mm pistols available today.

I used to carry it in a shoulder rig. I'm 6-02, and 225 lbs (at that time). These are sort of a no-man's land pistol. 12 rounds capacity, of a minimal caliber. If it's what you HAVE, it will certainly beat what you're saving up for. There are IWB holsters available for it. It also fits many holsters for the Beretta Model 84.

It's YOUR choice.:)

It's the same size as a Beretta 84 which is the same size as a S&W 6906. You probably would be better off with a 9MM Parabellem but if it's what you got I'd carry it. I did have a Beretta 84 about 20 years ago. I got rid of it as I got a 6906 and my finances at the time mandated I get rid of a gun. Wish I was able to keep it. I'd still carry it.

Look at the DeSantis Speed Scabbard. I use the one without the safety strap for all my carry guns and found that very secure for the past 20 years. You can get a strap if you desire.
