Law abiding citizens cannot buy assault weapons or high capacity magazines in California, even though the Federal ban is lifted.

Only the criminals will be able to buy assault weapons and high capacity magazines in California. The socialists have their way in this state, and their way is to coddle criminals and punish the law abiding.

That's what you voted them into office to do, Surefire. And that's the way it will be.:barf:

It is now monday. So far I have been shot 37 times. Why oh why did we have to let the AWB expire!?

:D

You got shot 37 times? That's nothing...just 5 minutes ago someone launched a grenade through my window and blew up my kitchen.

It's awful. Why just today I was hit by an Uzi falling from the sky! The injury was not bad, and as minor compensation, I took the Uzi home.

Man, I just went in to get my car inspected, and a terrible combination of assault weapons and carnage got all over my car! It must be a foot deep on all the streets. I wonder what all that blood will do to my paint job? :D

I am so sick of watching the liberal media try to cover this story. They all get so wrong I want to pull out my CCW and shoot the TV!!

I was surprised to see ABC news do a decent story on the AW ban last night. They started by stating that according to statistics, AWs accounted for <2% of firearm crimes prior to the ban and that there are no statistics that indicate the ban had any effect on crime.

They then showed a pre-ban AR-15 (M4 style) and post-ban AR-15 (M4 style) side-by-side to show that the ban merely prohibited cosmetic features and the rifles themselves where identical.

They cut to Feinstein and Co. and the best comment they could come up with justifying the ban was that most "top" law enforcement organizations in the country supported extending the ban.

I'm going to hunker down behind my sand bags with a couple cans of Lord Chesterfield Ale. Then when all of the gang banger drug dealers and thugs, get done spray firing rounds of armor piercing grenades at each other, I'm going to paddle my canoe out into the river of blood and use a seinning net to snag me some free machine guns that'll be on the body's floating by.

My local CBS affiliate was in full LIAR mode last night, holding up a preban Bushmaster m-4gery with a muzzle break while standing in Colosimo's gun shop in Philadelphia, Live no less, the NBC 10 reporter declares that thanks to Bush and the republicans these are now Legal to sell as of today for the first time in 10 years.

They did let the owner of the shop say that folks who own them shoot them at the range at 100 yards and then take them home and clean them.

:barf:

murder and mayhem, carnage in the streets as assault weapons flood our cities!!!!

Y'know what: I hate dodging carnage. Driving is bad enough and to have all this carnage around just makes it worse.
I had my hip waders on just to get through the assault weapons in the streets. People should keep them on the sidewalks at least. Sheesh.
Oh, man i had to kick some mayhem aside just to get in my door.
Yes, this is much worse.
