Trying to find a glock 20 SF in 10mm and my local dealer says that it will be at least a 3 month back order from his supplier. Gunbroker doesn't have a large selection either.

Is Glock being swamped by orders or is something else going on?
Would really like this gun sooner than 3 months.

Also, anyone order from http://www.glockmeister.com/ before? I sent them an email tonight asking if they had pistols in stock so I'm hoping to hear back from them by tuesday. Till then I'm pinging the masses for your knowledge.

My guess is, and it's only a guess, is that the 21-SF is more popular and maybe something is going on with that. So, the SF frames are being used to make a .45 instead of a 10mm

The problem with that is we cannot get 21SFs either.

Just speculation, but maybe they are working on a Gen 4 version of those models, and are therefore producing little or none of the SF frame versions?

My SWAG. G20's are probably Glocks least sold model. Most companies produce runs of guns in a specific style/caliber then change the machinery to run another type. They probably only make a small run of G20's once or twice a year to meet demand. As long as they are selling more of other types than they can make it is probably going to be a while before they have time to make a batch of G-20's.

^^^That was what I was going to suggest. Like many manufacturers (of many things, especially tires) they run a batch of one model and then swap the machinery over to another. Just my guess.

Do you think they sell fewer 10 mm Glocks than they do the .45 GAP models? I don't know a single person at either of the private ranges/clubs we belong to that own a pistol chambered in .45 GAP  :scrutiny: I added a G20 to the stable about a month ago for a woods/trail companion...
