Is HSM good ammo?

I've bought some of their "Bear Load" rounds in 357 Mag and 45 Colt, just to play around with in my Blackhawks, and have shot a couple hundred of their "Cowboy Load" 357 Mag rounds. No complaints here, either.

Well, earlier I saw a poll posted about the similar threads....

I should have done a question search on my own, but I didn't. Similar threads served that purpose.

The cowboy stuff in .45 Colt I’ve shot is consistently inconsistent. Half of them sound and feel like squibs. I have to check my barrel regularly. This is several lots over several years. Can’t speak for other calibers. I won’t buy any more.

I've never shot their ammo, but I almost bought some of their hardcast bullets for reloading. I found their 38/357 158 grain SWCs, $30 for 250 bullets. For some reason they're undersized at .356 so I decided against it. I guess it's just their 38/357 cause their full wadcutters are sized .356 too but their 380 Auto hardcast are sized correctly at .356. I'm not sure if their factory ammunition is any different or not just something to be aware of.

It's on par with anything Blazer, Remington, Winchester, et al makes.

I've run their "bear loads" in 357 mag and 44 mag in lever guns and revolvers. I've run their "cowboy loads" in 44 spl and 32-20 in revolvers. All of it has been 100% reliable. All of it has been consistently accurate with consistent velocities. Top quality Starline brass that I've reloaded for seemingly forever.

Thanks all for your input, and from similar threads.
