Is it my imagination or is there a shortage of Uberti inventory?

Yikes, I just left Midway.... a Lot of Out of Stock there. Oddly they were having a lot of sales several weeks ago! I'm wondering if this has something to do with a couple of Crackpot Pols mentioning going after Black Powder Arms.

Who's talking about doing this? That would be beyond unconstitutional for them to even try and imo, would be treading upon Right to Revolution territory.

Hmm, I wonder what the Pietta situation is....I've been specifically looking for Uberti products so I have not taken the time to see if Pietta products are also in short supply.

Pietta stuff is starting to go on sale at Cabela's again, but they usually do this time of year. To answer your question, apparently Pietta is doing fine, plenty of supply. More Uberti at the moment.

I've had an Uberti 1858 Remington cylinder on back-order from Taylor's since 23 March and the folks there can't tell me when I can expect delivery.

It is probably because Taylors deals mostly in whole guns and not parts. They may have had to include it in an order from Uberti and it has to clear Customs, etc. Been there and done that in 2014 with a Pietta 1851 Navy squareback TG and it took more than 2 months to receive it. Patience, sir. Taylors is a good company.

My local BP dealer who buys from Taylors said for years the BP revolvers were slow sellers, but in the last year they just took off.
