Is it worth saving brass?

You can get $30 or so per thousand for 9mm brass. Prices go up from there for other calibers. 223 and 45 is around $50. Magnum rifle brass can be very lucrative, as can uncommon stuff. I paid around $50 for 500 7.62x39 brass.

Here's what you do:
Go down to the post office (leave your CCW in the car) and get a few flat rate boxes.
Slap a post-it note on the side with the caliber and store it under your work bench, your bed, in the garage, wherever.
Toss your brass in there.
When the box is full, sell it.

Who wouldn't want what is essentially a $30+ rebate on their next case of ammo? Save your brass in all calibers (except rimfire). Someone will buy it. We even have a reloading section here on the THR Marketplace.
