Is Royal Tiger Imports legit?

Bought one. A gun arrived. They later admitted they sent me the wrong model. Said i was going to have to forfeit approximately $350.00 to get a refund. I was disappointed.

Sorry, but your post doesn't make any sense. Forfeit $350 to get a refund? That's an oxymoron. I think a more detailed explanation is in order.

I was wondering about those 11 tacks on the rifle but stock. Just decoration or how many kills?

Videos of brand-new, IO-produced guns, straight from the box, malfunctioning on Youtube videos became a concern.

The unfortunate results of Rob Ski's test on AKOU (Youtube) created some Very large waves about IO's steel quality and components' assembly. :(

That famous test (or two) prompted a long response from IO's CEO, Uli-- send directly to Rob Ski, who has done very lengthy tests on quite a number of AKMs, along with the imported VZ-58 (5,000 rds. tested):) .
That really :scrutiny: got peoples' attention. "Rob Ski" might still have the CEO's response on a video.

This wide publicity seems to have been a major, or determining factor in terms of why they Shutdown the entire production of those "AKM" rifles.

Good luck with any company which has a strong association with them.

After spending a great deal of time telling me that I 'had ordered wrong,' or 'it was impossible for them to do...' They finally admitted they just did not send me the correct rifle that I bought. However, the only way they would give me refund is if I paid for the return shipping, and a restocking fee. this comes to about $350.00. I agree, it is not really a refund, if they do not refund what you paid - especially since they finally told me that they just did not send the correct rifle. I would have just preferred to have them send me the gun that I ordered. They would not replace the rifle with the correct one. I hope that makes more sense.

Not really. How many frigging rifles did you buy anyway? A whole crate full? A typical restocking fee is 15% and shipping maybe $50. If that comes to $350 on a single rifle I think you've got reasonable cause to dispute your credit card charge, if that's how you paid.

Just checked, they deleted my 1 star review again on the La Coruna. 5 star review on the M24/47 is still there. Total lack of integrity on their part.
If I could, and they could not disable me from commenting. I would copy and paste and post every single day. I would email them and tell them so too. I'd just tell them their response was completely unacceptable and I was gonna make it my business to inform future buyers. I certainly wouldn't do business with them, not even if it was a great rifle for a great deal. Integrity counts.

That is just not right. It was thier mistake, I would FIRST dispute with the credit card company, hopefully you have the admission in writting ( e-mail).

If that does not work out ( I would demand return for a FULL refund, and a shipping lable to boot!) you could try your state attorney general and see if they will help. Also opening up a dispute with BBB cant hurt...they base their ratings on disputes settled AFIAK.

Well, please everyone keep our fingers crossed. They sent me a shipping label, and said they would waive any restocking fees. It just makes me angry that it took me weeks of emails, and phone calls to get them to that position. That should have been something they would be willing to do in the very beginning. Thank you for the information Izzy77

I experienced the same w/ Classic, so I'm sure that approach to doing business is just plain intentional.
