When I first bought MBC 9mm coated bullets I tried to make them fail to see where the limits were but could not. I loaded 124gr coated bullets with Longshot to probably too high pressures. The velocities were well over 1200 fps and not a hint of the coating failing, not leading at all.

That's good to know. I plan on getting testing some of their 180 gr. coated for 357 mag. carbine. Those will probably max out at 1400ish fps using 2400.
 
i've used mbs, cheycast, and sns, i prefer sns because they have the bullets types/weights i want. i've shot them in my ruger sp101 and 30-30 lever action. no problem.
i've found bullets in the berms with the nose flattened but the hi-tek coating still stuck to them.
