Thinking you mean Brownells. They have occasional free shipping offers but a standardized discount is not offered unless you hold a current FFL.

Brownells regularly offers discount codes for free shipping, 10% off, $15 off on $150+ orders, etc. but they all have expiration dates.

I am not aware of a "permanent" discount code for Brownells like THRFORUM code for 5% THR discount at Optics Planet.

Currently discount code TAG will get you $15 off at Brownells.

I’ve gotten dealer type pricing after I submitted a copy of my C&R license. That the only discount I know of

I can’t imagine why anyone in these times would offer any discounts. They can’t even keep popular items in stock.

Years ago a friend told me that Brownells will give any tax ID dealer pricing. Doesn’t have to have an FFL or even be firearms related. He used the one from the bakery he worked at. Since that day, I use my own non firearms business tax ID too.

The discount, if any, is right there between the product code and price.



This is from #68 so the prices might not be the same but as an illustration of how they do it, the $154.95 VAIS brake is $121.43 to those that are sold to as business. The price being the same on the one to the left shows no discount available.

If you sign up for the mailing list they send them out with some regularity as others have noted. Generally 10% off, but at fixed intervals: $10 off $100, $15 off $150, etc.

I miss the $0.01 hazmat codes they used to have back in '18 and '19. I don't expect those will pop back up for quite some time.

Brownells was one of many major vendors who supported Judge Benitez's ruling on magazine capacity that allowed "Freedom Week" for gun owners in CA.
