JLStorm..An apology ? LOL..Get a grip kid. It is convienent you just happen to know the national record holders. Ah, but the beauty of the internet where every other guy runs a 4.2 40, makes over $ 500K anually, has porn star dimensions or " knows someone " that is a record holder.

Enroll her for some exercise classes at a Gold's Gym. We are only talking upwards of 12-15 pounds here. She is probably afraid of the gun.

My wife (tall but very thin) INSISTED that she couldn't rack my XD-40. Admittedly it's pretty stiff but I persisted with teaching her and now she can do it. Mostly it's about technique and practice, it's got to be one smooth motion.

On the other hand, she has no trouble at all with my Taurus Millennium Pro (PT-140). I suspect that it's so much easier to rack because it's a DAO gun so racking the slide is not also cocking the gun.

So maybe you should look at some of the DAO trigger guns and see if she has an easier time with them, assuming she won't mind the heavier trigger action.

TA4...If you haven't had her try it yet, have her try wearing either a golf or shooting glove on her weak ( racking ) hand . It has helped the majority of gals that i've had try it whom previously struggled when charging a semi-auto. As others have suggested here, cocking the hammer beforehand really aids too. Safe shooting.

I never stated that I knew any of the record holders, which doesnt matter because 500lbs at 181 is far from the record which you could of seen from the various links. My old lifting buddy never could afford to go to nationals, like many others I mentioned, if you are really that interested feel free to surbscribe to powerlifting usa magazine, they usually get coverage in there. http://www.giftofstrength.com/powerlifting_usa.htm and you can read about all the many less than 200lbs men that can bench over 500.

Your whole point was a 180lbs person could never bench 500, well you have been proven wrong, its that simple. maybe you should do some research next time (which I was kind enough to do for you) before you go spouting off impossibilities of the human body or anything else you have no clue about. I was simply trying to help someone, you could at least do us all a favor and do some research next time so your insults can at least hold some merit. :banghead:
