    ...if in fact they exist?

"I'm a Hunter" could become "I'm a Poacher" pretty quick...

edit: Found more info on MA's "Public Records Act"

There was a similar thread about a month ago.
I sent a letter to the Massachusetts Game Commissioner asking for records of kerry's hunting license(s) and have received no response. I'm not sure I have standing to sue, since I don't live in MA.

Of course, the Massachusets members of the board are probably converging on the Game Commissioner's office in Boston right now because they are not girlie men who spout "molon labe" and do nothing but imagine their heroics on doomsday.

This is a great idea! Someone with some clout needs to try and see if Kerry even has a hunting license. Who could we sent this idea to? Somone with some high connection in the NRA or the RNC should get ahold of them and see if this can be accomplished. Again, this NEEDS to happen. Anyone with some clout on this board that could make some phone calls? Let us know.

    patentmike,

While I would like to flood the state house, and I would like to open a lawsuit, tending to my job precludes my traveling to the statehouse on a whim, and I'm not funded like the MMM and such, and so cannot afford the lawsuit.

Instead, I've emailed GOAL for advice about confirming or refuting Kerry's FID/LTC. We shall see what GOAL has to say, and what can be afforded.

I would try to get the local Fox News people to look into this quickly. They seem to be one of the only remotely close to right wing media outlets. They may be able to do some sort of expose` about all of this and find something. Its not likely that the gov't will hide anything so simple and direct from them. Its not like it is a matter of national or personal security since these appear to be public record.

    Just a thought.

    Why bother?

Are you campaigning against Kerry or for Bush? Will his record stand the same scrutiny?

Do you need a license in Iowa to hunt on a game farm? (was it Iowa?)

Kerry says he hunts deer crawling around on his belly with a 12 ga. double. He also says he's pro 2nd amendment when his voting record is given a 100% by the Brady group. The liberal media could easily check the facts, but they would rather not. We can. He claims to have been an avid hunter since his teens. Fine, show me the records.

We can all send them a request, maybe they'll see it won't go away if they ignore it. Maybe they have to respond from someone from MA. If someone lives in MA, you could also request records on somebody else you know in a separate letter and see if it gets handled differently. Heres a copy of the letter I sent a month ago (no response):

    Commissioner David Peters
    Department of Fish and Game
    251 Causeway St., Suite 400

    Re: Public Records Act Request
Hunting Licenses for John Forbes Kerry

    Dear Mr. Peters,

I would like to request copies of any documentation reflecting hunting licenses issued to Senator John Forbes Kerry. Enclosed please find a check for ten dollars ($10.00) to cover copying costs. Please refund the difference if this is excessive. I have also enclosed a self-addressed-stamped envelope for your convenience. Feel free to give me a call if there are additional fees or if you require any additional information from me.
