Besides the Freedom Model 97, is there such thing as a Single Action Army clone in 41 mag in Stainless with adjustable sights (not SAA I know)? Much like a Ruger 3 screw.

There's the excellent Ruger Blackhawk in a variety of flavors, with regards to frame, barrel length and finishes available in 41 Magnum.

That ^^^ easy enough to find if you go looking.

I had a 5.5" stainless Ruger Bisley Blackhawk for a while... it was a wonderful pistol (...with, ultimately, typical Ruger problems, so I had to sell it.)

.41 top, .45 Vaquero bottom...

I'm aware of the Blackhawks in 41, I'm not aware of a stainless model ever produced with half cock loading and the old colt sound when running the hammer back.

I am aware of the power custom kits but I like the lower sbh style hammer and would rather have only one rotation direction, not freewheel in both directions.

Uberti makes a 44 Magnum with adjustable sights, and the US distributors have their own version/name for it. I am betting that they won't sell well enough for Uberti to consider making a 41. Don't look for 4 clicks though, because the first click wasn't usable and Colt never addressed it, so Uberti fixed it, primarily as a US import safety requirement. 3-click actions remain though. Now we get to whine about the firing pins and talk about the failures that aren't happening.

None of the guns mentioned are close enough to be considered a Colt SAA "clone". No Old Model Rugers were ever made in stainless steel. The Power Custom half cock kit works well and is available with a Bisley style hammer spur. It does NOT freewheel in both directions, that would be impossible. It's closer in operation and feel but not enough to forget it's a New Model Ruger.

The closest thing to a magnum close is the aforementioned Uberti Callahan (or Cimarron Bad Boy) .44Mag in both fixed and adjustable sight versions. They are blued only.

How do you like yours? Uses an old army size grip right?

That is picture of the gun when it just got back from JRH and had not been trimmed down for regulation. It has since been shortened and the front rounded.
For as little as my guns sees holsters, a good sight picture is much more important to me...I can always buy another holster...

Was able to get a "used" never used EPS Tom Threeperson holster for it... Gun goes in and out tight with no scraping of leather...

Bob

Now has a EPS Tom Threepersons holster and have no front sight snagging issues... For $65 delivered I didn't think I could go wrong...and it is TIGHT...
