Is this a good deal on a Marlin 336?

MARLIN 336 Lever 30-30. Leupold rings & base w/3-9 scope & $200 in ammo. NIB. $400.

He's local so no shipping costs or transfer fees. Should I jump on this? He told me it was one of the 336's that came in a combo with a scope.

Probably a 336A or 336W. Both have hardwood stocks. $200 in ammo is subjective, you might want to tell us what ammo he has.
If it is NIB (unfired) and there is about 10 to 15 boxes of ammo it would be a pretty good deal, indeed.
Either 336 (A or W) runs over $300 new.
