Hey all,

I was looking to buy a range finder and maybe also a weather meter to help up my game and I came across this Bushnell Elite CONX Laser Rangefinder w/ Kestrel Sportsman Ballistics Weather Meter on Woot. https://sport.woot.com/offers/bushnell-elite-rangefinder-with-kestrel-1?ref=w_cnt_wp_1_2
It seems to be what I'm looking for and the price sounds great, but I wanted to get another's point of view on this item.

Could you help me out? Is this a good brand? is it a good price, everything considered? Does anyone have other products to suggest?

Thanks in advance for your help!

That link is showing sold out, and not displaying a price. The Elite 1 mile is a good rangefinder, very fast. But also large compared to several other more recent models on the market. The advantage of that kit is the link between the Kestrel and the rangefinder, using the onboard ballistic calculator, and of course, the overall price of the kit. When I bought mine, the package price was steeply discounted, and frankly, a computer error, so I got the 1 mile at a steal of a price, and the included ~$450 Kestrel Sportsman was free. I’m not sure what the current street prices are for the kit.

The current Kestrel with ballistic calculator is the Hornady 4DoF Model, not the Sportsman with Advanced Ballistics engine which is in that kit. The Sportsman still works fine, and as a weather meter, it works the same as the new model.

*Current Amazon price for the kit with the Sportsman is $579, which is a good price. The Sportsman alone is $390-400, with pretty strict pricing controls, and the Bushnell 1 Mile is certainly worth more than $180.
