is this a real gun and suppressor, if so, what manufacturers, caliber, etc.
this subguns.com calendar was on the news today because one of the models, Kumari Fulbright (May 2008, holding what appeared to be an airsoft HK51) is a "beauty queen" (from contests that no one's ever heard of ) and accused of robbing her ex boyfriend.

Looks to me like a short barreled pistol caliber AR with one of Tom Bower's cans on it. It's a pretty small suppressor, so it may be a .22 LR upper.

I'm pretty sure that it is real. I don't know of any airsoft AR mods that include an MP5 magazine. Just UZI ones.

As to the original pic; looks to me like a .22lr AR conversion on an old Colt lower (maybe select fire?).

If you go to www.subguns.com there's a link right there to buy the calendar and right under it a link to Bowers Products.

Since its obviously an SBR .22lr upper, I'm betting the suppressor is a Bowers Paradigm.


subguns.com is a well known hangout for owners of NFA goodies, so I have no doubt that every gun in the calendar is real.

The guy who put out the calendar is a friend of mine. The gun on the cover is select fire with a .22 kit and a Bowers suppressor. All the guns are real and are NFA weapons, select fire or suppressed.

I've seen pictures of many of our members in picture threads. Posted my own too. The evidence is overwhelming that we all have our "after picture."

Yep, what sucks is I am always in my "after picture" and it's too late to take the before.:banghead:


BTW: "beauty queen?" Since when is that "beauty?" Granted, she is quite handsome, but not beautiful...Those meth scares are not very attractive.
