Is this a reason for a Judge or Governor?

Shooting a snake at home...use a hoe, it's cheaper and not only does it kill the snake, you can use it to transport the corpse our of the yard. Plus, it's quiet.
Shooting a snake in the field...just walk away from it. You're not going to do a thing to the snake population and even venomous snakes are good - I'd rather have copper heads in the woods than more rats.
Frankly, as a forester who encounters snakes often, I see little use in killing them with a gun. And, given I had to break beaver dams and trap beavers, I carried tools into the field. A fire rake works just like a hoe, a cane pole works great in the water (you don't want Mr. No Shoulders messing with you on a beaver dam).

Whoever relegated the Judge to shooting snakes doesn't understand the gun's concept.

My Wife bought me a Judge for Xmas several years ago I didn`t pick it out or tell Her I wanted one of them. And when I opened the box my first thought was what am I going to do with this and why did She Buy it. SS, 4inch barrel, 2 1/2 inch shells. And I asked Her why She bought it for me. Her ansewer was short and sweet, She thought I needed one. Can`t argue with that. First time I took it out the range to shoot it, I learned real fast I did not bring enought (( AMMO )). Every body at the range I think wanted to shoot it. And IMHO it is a hoot to shoot, I really enjoy shooting it. My Son bought a BlackHawk OWB holster for it. And I found that one of the old shoulder holsters I have fit it just fine. I have carried it some and have shot a bunch of varmints with it down on the home place. Snakes, rabbits, coons, feral cats, beavers, skunks, and even a couple of ground hogs in the mellon patch. I have enjoyed this old gun alot it shoots my 45 LC reloads just fine, and thoes 410 shells made for it are just really something. From now on my Wife can buy me any darn gun She wants. I enjoy the heck out of my (( JUDGE )).
