If you are relaxed and comfortable with yourself then what is the problem. You now have a new hobby. As far as the friends being concerned that you haven't been around, remember that is a 2 way street affair. They can just as easily come to visit you. Tell them it would be nice if they dropped by your home sometimes and bring the beer.
