Instead of saying HOGWASH, how about explain to me why he would vote for expanding the powers and size of the federal bureaucracy, and expanding welfare programs if he is a conservative?

HOGWASH doesn't do anything to sway my opinion, and if thats the best his supporters can say to defend Thompson, his campaign won't go far.

I will agree with you though that he is the lesser of two evils when compared to Hillary or Obama. Is that good enough?

But please, explain to me why mentioning that Fred Thompson will be in Dallas should elicit the same "I support Ron Paul thread hi-jack scenario" that we've seen in 50 previous threads????? We get it, OK?? We know you don't like Fred Thompson, but can there be at least ONE Fred Thompson thread that isn't hi-jacked from the get-go????
