Ithaca 12 gauge sxs help

I picked up an Ithaca the other day, and was hoping someone could help me learn at little more about it. Age, model, grade?

It is serial number 120,15x

12 gauge.

"S" over 12 on the water table.

The gun has 30" barrels, bead front sight. Barrels marked smokeless powder steel.

I fired both barrels today (once each) and they worked fine. Locks up tightly.

Ithaca Lewis model, should have been made approx. Jan 1906, if my list is right. Check to see if it has fluid steel or damascus barrels, as they used both in that time frame. If they are damascus, or are pitted very much, I would make that one a wall hanger. Get it checked by a real deal gunsmith.

Not damascus. Thats for sure.
