The Ithaca 37 16 gauge shotgun I have is an older model in very good condition. It has only been fired a few times. The last time I fired it the shell casing is jammed inside. It is a bottom ejecting gun. Any suggestions on how to release the emptied shell? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

To unstick a fired shell use a cleaning rod inserted from the muzzle to knock it free.Polishing the chamber with a steel wool wrapped bore brush will keep the fired hulls from sticking if a dirty chamber is the culprit.
