Guess I'm out of touch, but I had no clue such a thing existed. I mean, yeah, the wartime models and all...but new production?
Stopped in a very small (literally only about 120sq. feet of floor space) today, and I've never been so impressed with a shop's selection of 1911's. Probably 20 or more new Colt 1911's, including 4 in .38 Super. I've never seen a .38 Super in a shop. Also never seen a P210 in a shop, but they had at least one.
In a display right near all the Colts, I saw a very stunning 1911 with Ithaca Gun Company stamped on the slide. Thought it was intriguing at least, so looked closer. They had 5 of them, ranging from $1700ish right on up to around $2400. I'm not in that market, but does anyone have any experience with them?
