Ithaca Riot Shotgun

I saw elsewhere that Ithaca is making the riot version of their 37 (Homeland Security model). I need help as to where I can get one? I live in California, but have access to a FFL. E-Mailed Ithaca with no response. Thanks

196pc: If you emailed Ithaca you'll be waiting a while for a response, or even receive one. There customer service is something Ithaca Gun Company needs to work on if they are going to keep loyal customers such as myself. I'll save my numerous customer service Ithaca stories for another thread.

Southern Ohio Guns (SOG), 1-800-944-4867 www.southernohiogun.com has advertised in there monthly flyer Ithaca Mod 37 12ga. Police turn in shotguns for $197.95 last time I looked. Advertised as good/very good condition. This is the route I'd take instead of purchasing a new one. Take her apart for a good cleaning, add all new springs (under $35) just in case, and you have a reliable home defense shotgun!

I wouldn't even add new spring until I tried it out. Most of those old police shotgun haven't been fired very much.

Too bad to hear that. SOG had them advertised in there dealer flyers since about November I believe. I should of bought one just for a reliable trunk shotgun. Hopefully more Police Trade In's will appear in the future.

I bought a Chinese Clone for $100, and am quite happy with it. At $100, it was a bargain, it shoots straight, and with slugs, I was getting 9's at 25 yards, and they were touching......
I heard that the last batches of these are better than the first ones that came in....
This one came with the green glass sights, which are real nice in low light...
