It's empty!

If you reload shotgun, you could; cut the spout into a V shape, and use it to pour shot into the reservoir on your loader, or save it and hold your old 209's from reloading. (I do so with a 4# until I have enough to stitch into a shot bag for a rifle rest to leave at the rifle range at the club.)
edwardware's suggestion has merit, also. ;)

It could be handy for long trips, too. Set it on the floor of the car in front of your seat-it has a nice with spout you can't miss while driving........beats a Gatorade bottle......:)

AH! I remember my first empty 8# of Unique... it might be a little bit older than yours, however. The label off that keg is framed and hanging in my reloading room... and is also my avatar.

I have an 8# jug under my Hornady press to catch spent primers. So far it's got about 10 years worth in it. Sure beats emptying a small bottle all the time, and the inevitable dropping of said small bottle and the following clean up.

Well that is not a unique situation as of late!:p
Hope you have more on hand. If not, things are looking up recently. I would use a heat gun and peel the label off and secure it to a tool box or such. The wide fronts of my shelves have the labels from various bullet boxes recovered in the same way stuck on them.

Frame it, hang it on the wall as it's the last one you will see for a while. :)
Seriously, you have my sympathy. I have the same problem with my 1 pound canisters.

I fill mine up with plinker grade 9mm (1 lb) cans. Haven't figured out a great use for 8lb yet, other than filling with chicken grit and putting in back of my woods truck for winter traction. Filled with shot, they'd make a great tractor weight, or fill with water for boat ballast.
