Its official, ive come down with revolver fever. :)

The problem is there are too many revolvers, so little money.

Right now im set on getting a Taurus 85 2 inch, a S&W M10 with a 4 inch barrel, and a S&W M19 which happens to be IMO one of the most beautiful revolvers ever made. :)

Anyone have any pictures for me to drool over until I finally save up enough to get them?

Thanks!

Revolvers

Welcome to the World of Wheels.

The S&W model 19 is a beauty and a wonderful shooter as well.
Here's a little M19 of mine that will poke your eye out at 75 feet.

Good luck on getting a bigger vault. :D

Here's a couple of S&Ws, a 19-5, a 586-4 and a few Colts. I've got the fever too, picking up a 686-4+ 2.5" on Thursday.

I must say, you definitely have outdone the bulk of us revolver retros by starting out with THREE fine revolvers.

Now you need to re register under a new username because you probably will sell your Glock soon.

I've been wanting a .44 magnum for a long time. I'm attempting to trade my Hi Power for one, or I may take it to a shop and trade it on one.
I may actually trade my 92FS for a 686 plus 4 inch. I've fired one of those and I really like it. In general I prefer revolvers to semis myself.

You can always stretch that M19 in length a bit! :p

Or even consider an N frame - to me almost the ultimate of Smiths - two ''flavors'' here :)

If you get on the S&W bandwagon - there is NO turning back!! :D

I have to agree with the statement about the Model 19 being a 'looker'.
The snubnose version with standard grips is the single best looking revolver ever made, I think. It truly has an aesthetic appeal that no other wheelgun can match.

That said, if you're going to get a revolver and really enjoy it, I'd think a Ruger GP-100 .357 in 3" with fixed sights would serve you best for overall size, capacity, power, accuracy and ease of maintenance.
Blued or Stainless, depending on what you like.
They are really tough guns.
A choice such as this would give you almost everything you could want to get started with a revolver collection, and you'd have no fear of it being fragile or limited in the slightest, plus you'd have the satisfaction of getting more than your money's worth out of it.

Good Luck and have fun with whatever you choose!
The Good Luck is for choosing your NEXT one... :banghead: :D

I really love my 6 in 19-3. I also have a 4 in 65-2.
I'd actually love to find a 3 inch gp100. But I have been unable to find one of these anywhere in the Indianapolis area.

Thanks for the quick replies and the pictures!

I only have one revolver right now, and that is a Heritage Arms Rough Rider. Its a fun plinker too. It was my first gun, and it was a birthday present for my 16th birthday.

BusMaster007- For now, I will be looking into the 19, however, I do plan on reloading sometime in the future, and I know a Ruger will fit that role best. :)

A 629 would also be nice, but that will have to wait like them all. :)
