It looks like your front site block is a barrel band, silver solder and then dovetail for the Lyman. I wonder if there's a simpler solution...looks like Altius sells a rear Izhmash sight for the BB for $225 and the Pyramyd air gun stuff has an adjustable front. As long as the front sight height is correct, there should be enough adjustment in the rear to zero things in.

Finally got scope mounted on my BB in 22 mag and shot yesterday, could not be happier with results. Due to mud could only shoot 25 yards, shot all ammo great but one hole groups with Hornady 30 grain vmax. Scope is Weaver V16 with Weaver high dual extension rings #49045.

nice setup! I still need to get some rings for mine...though I can probably "borrow" the scope from my Savage as it has the right kind on it.

correct! holds three I believe. I ordered two extras.....one in the gun, three in the well and a spare (they're pricey at $35/ea so I didn't get more but might regret that down the road).

Nice rifle ... you're hooked now!!!!

By the way ... SOMEBODY needs to be importing 10round mags!!!!!

I would certainly like a couple more ... more handy for plinking!!!!:banghead:

Nice. Anyone know how they compare to a CZ. I am thinking of my next purchase. I love my two CZ's but very interested in the BB.

I think it outshoots a 455 from what I'm told by those who own both. On par or slightly better than a 452. That said, if you can find one of these and want one, DON'T DELAY. They've been MIA for nearly 5yrs and recently 100 in 22WMR were made available from someone probably cleaning their warehouse. CFS still has them in stock I think....there's also a new one on GB.

I put off my CZ 455 purchase to get this Izhmash pair because I know I can find the CZ down the road.

Guys:

Centerfiresystems.com has the .22WMR Russian IZ-144 .22WMR Biathlon 7-2 KO Rifle #IZ-144 on sale at $299.99. They had 35 or so left and I believe when they are gone, they are gone.

They also had the Russian IZ-149 .22LR Biathlon CM-2 with Removable Dioptrical Sights #IZ-149 for $429.99 and the Russian IZ-152 .30-06 Saiga Los 9-1 Bolt Action Rifle #IZ-152 for $429.99.

FYI
