J frame grips on a Taurus 85?

will j frame factory wood grips fit on a Taurus 85? i'm talking about the older wood grips that lots of people add a Tyler Tgrip to them.

No , the grips are the same but the screw location is different .
I have some of the rubber boot grips and I compared them , couldn't see any difference other than the screw location . If you need any rubber boot grips for the Taurus send me a PM .

30.06 is right so far as he goes, but there is another issue. On the right side of the Taurus frame is a large hole. The purpose was to locate the frame in various fixtures when it was being machined. Smith & Wesson "service stocks" won't completely cover this hole. Some larger S&W J-frame stocks will, where others will not. Check before you buy.
