Well I tried Estate, Remington, and Winchester ammo, and found they all did it. I took it to the dealer, and they looked it over, and found that it was hanging up, said it was Benelli's problem, and gave me a new gun.

Damned good dealer, there. Hope you let 'em know you appreciated that. I'd go back to 'em next time, too, would have won a loyal customer of me with that deal.

Haven't shot it yet, but just gave it the new gun cleaning and oiling. The shop is a FIrst Rate place, and I have spent alot in there along with a few family members and friends. I WILL buy more from them, and I send alot of business there way. It helps that I have become friends with the owner and his son, but they went out of there way to make good on the sale.

Now if they would lower the price on a High Standard Supermatic Citation 6 7/8 target I would be extremly happy.

That is one incredible gun dealer because even though it's Benellis problem it's not his. He made it his however and made you a lifetime customer! That, my friends, is the way it's done!

I doubt I'll be in ND in the near future, but others might. How about posting the shop's name and location? There are others that would probably appreciate a truly stand-up dealer. (I know there are many out there, but they're getting rarer every day.)

The gunsmith is one way to go, but why should I put money into something that is only two weeks old.

Because it's broken. It happens. I have a Montefeltro that has never jammed in 7 heavily hunted dove seasons. Benelli makes a fantastic shotgun, but they are not indestructable. Get it fixed & enjoy it.

On a note of irony, my Benelli is now back-up to a 30+ year old 1100 that I found NIB. It is SO much easier on the shoulder----
