I just finished reading this great book “James “.450” Watts”. It has some very good cartridge development history along with a good bit of technical data and his experience on bullet performance. There’s also a lot of Alaskan, African and WW2 history. This guy got the ball rolling on the .458. *warning, it may cause you to buy a .458.

Oh wow, just started looking on the web. Didnt realize this was such a rare book, sorry guys. My uncle borrowed me this one. I just emailed the author on his website, turns out he lives very near me. I guess there were only a few hundred printed. Maybe if we all bug him he’ll print some more?
