Man tries to hold up police office:
[World News]: HARAMACHI, Japan, March 9 : Japanese have arrested a man who tried to hold up a police office, the Mainichi Daily News reported Wednesday.
Yoshimasa Yamada confessed to breaking the Swords and Firearms Control Law after he entered the police office Monday and demanded money.Yamada found himself instantly surrounded by police officers.
"I didn't really care where I could go, but never dreamed I'd end up where I did," he said.
Police said Yamada may have mistaken the building for a Japan Railways office located directly beside the police office.
"Our uniforms look pretty similar to those used by JR, so he probably got us mixed up," an officer said.
