I'd buy that for its current asking price ($20+15shipping) if I didn't have to pay an FFL to transfer it.

I never knew they made rifles.
It cant suck that bad, a single shot bolt action is much easier to accept than a single shot disfunctional auto pistol and anything that throws lead for $35 should be a nice plinker/project gun/truck gun/beater/gift to a young person.

I never knew that those were made either, but based on that one's serial number, there are well over a million of them floating around.

Heck, even with a 20 dollar transfer fee, your looking at 55 dollars for a .22. Might be fun just to have and tinker with. On the other hand, it does say Jennings, so it very well might disintegrate or blow up the first shot

Everyone knows about the HiPoint carbines - how'd we miss this one? looks almost intriguing....I have a 4 year old needing a 22 soon....

One owner and looks like new. He probably couldn't get it to shoot.

I was disappointed though, I thought this thread was about Peter Jennings' .22.

You can get a Romanian .22 trainer for less than $55....

Does that include shipping, transfer fee and sales tax?

I must live in a crappy part of the country.
Around here if you can even find a Rom Trainer they are $80 and every dealer's FFL transfer fees are at least $30.

I wouldn't be surprised if that Jennings rifle is better made than the Romanian .22 trainer. I had one of those and I think Jennings just may be able to do a better job than the Romanians did. :neener: Come to think of it, I have never seen any gun from Romania that was worth a darn.

Dunhams(sporting goods chain) does them a couple times a year at $50 each. Don't know if you've got Dunhams in your neck of the woods, but I've heard of Big 5 and another chain running the same deal...
