It's California, 2016. The only good news is that, some day it will get better.
Living there for several years (1960-1964) and loving the Golden State, at least this is my fervent prayer.

I'm fifty nine years old. I've been at least vaguely aware of California since JFK was alive.

Can you tell me exactly WHAT has gotten better in California?

We will be buying and shooting AR rifles in California after this new law. What they do here is there plan for you. The left plays a long game, the Constitution is nearing irrelevance. Happy independence day.

The important thing to remember about CA is that the rest of us are but a few elections and 100,000 or so voters sway from being in the same boat.

Dean, you' re just the latest to repeat my quote. I knew it was a classic when I wrote it 4 long days ago! I stand by every word!

Since we're both old, it's immaterial to us. The final gun chapter in California will be written long after we are dead.

Back in 1966, I had the good fortune to spend ~4 weeks in CA (8 days in Yosemite!!) and saw Hearst Castle in San Simeon, Disneyland, SF, etc.
Ten years later, a 30-day college field trip had us spending a week in the San Diego area. Even in those 10 years, I could see some of the downhill slide.

You could not PAY me to even visit that hellhole again.

I purchase a lot of ammunition from LAX ammunition. I was not clear on whether the new CA laws would affect out of state purchases. I received an email from them today and they stated the answer is NO.

They are currently circulating a petition against the new laws and are planning to fight them. I wish them success.
