From the looks of the "Pocket Pistol Poll", a lot of us have the little Jetfire 950. I just reloaded mine with Fiocchi FMJ's. They make the little fella heavier. I can feel it. I take it out and shoot through something every now and then when somebody says a .25 is good for nothing but making noise.:) Yep, it makes noise, however I surely would hate to have nine of those hard Fiocchi FMJs in my face!

Somebody needs to post a link to the story where the gunshop owner defended himself against the samurai sword weilding nutcase with a 25ACP.

I love my little Jetfire, but the pretty blued baby now mostly sits in a drawer in lieu of my P32.

I would not want to be peppered by the .25, but I sure wouldn't want those .32 Silvertips expanding in me.

I still get the surprisingly accurate Jetfire out and plink with her, despite the high price of .25acp. She is just fun to shoot but the likes of a P32 make for a better pocket rocket.

Yeah, I have a P-32 also...

It's even "dressed up". :) Hard chrome top end, gray grip frame, silver metal trigger shoe. Works great, too. Have it full of Fiocchi FMJ's too. It never "rim-locked", but why take the chance?
I don't shoot it much. Maybe I'll just carry my P-32 today. I bought a neat little Fobus paddle a couple of gun shows ago and it's a perfect fit.

I like the Jetfires. I like the Fiocchi ammo too. I must be the only person that has yet to shoot a P-32. I have the P-11, go figure.

I like the trigger on the Jetfires. I wish for a fun gun they would make it again in 22. Was it the Minx that was the Jetfire in 22 short--fun little fella.

Had a 21A in 22lr...Though mine was reliable,...just something about a 950 and 6.35mm

In Irvine, we prefer AR-15s ;)

:banghead: SB23!

That's the story, but the gun store owner wrote a fully detailed story after his recovery and posted it on the internet. In the story, as he is being attacked and retreating through the story, he passes multiple loaded weapons in his panic. He finally remembers the 25 auto in his pocket and empties it into the face of his attacker.

I'm not advocating the caliber as a first choice, but the original poster just reminded me of the story.

I recall the story too. The fault was not with the pistol - but the fact that he waited so long to use it. Another story a few years back here where a guy shot through a back door with a .25 and stopped the guy trying to kick in the door with one shot.

.25's may be wuss rounds, but more often than not, they do exactly what they are suppose to do. Maybe more so since they are more likely to be there when needed. And the little Beretta 950 Jetfire is the perfet platform for launching them.

10-Ring, those mean streets of Irvine are meaner than one would think. A friend of mine in Irvine had a MAC-10 shoved in his face last week by a friendly neighborhood bank robber. Danger seems to lurk in even the nicest cities.
