Here is my previous post introducing the ugly lump:
http://thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=493419

It is amazing what a good cleaning and a new set of duds/furniture can do for a battle axe/shotgun that has been rode hard & put away wet too many times.

My digital camera is on the fritz, so I could only get a couple of shots, the above of which shows best detail & color.

Thanks to JJ for the pointer to the Choate forearm with picatinny rail bit. It sets it off quite nicely.

The Knoxx Cop Stock points better for me than any other pistol-gripped stock I have held.

Next steps:
0. Sling & QD swivels (simple web, nothing fancy)
1. Pattern with several flavors of buckshot, prejudiced toward WW/Academy Rem Express 000 & 00 due to price/availability
2. Find a slug that where POI ~ POA
3. Save up for Streamlight TLR-1
4. Perform Experiment:
--Course of fire with ugly peach full stock
--Course of fire with extended Knoxx Cop Stock
--Course of fire with folded stock (PG-only)
--Course of fire with my 18" bbl Rem 1100 semi-auto
Record times & compare

Question:
Anybody have a suggestion as to a shotgun shell bandoleer / belt? There is no means for on-gun reloads, so a quick means to have reloads is required. I am not interested in a sling-bandoleer, though, and receiver-mounted rigs interfere with the folder.

Looks great:)

Maybe one of those belt slides that holds 5 or 6 rounds? I dunno what you can do for bump in the nigh duty short of hoping 4 shots will do the trick.

Personally, i find sling bandoleers to get heavy when stuffed with 25 shells. I made one out of an old belt and some spare leather. Holds 12 shells and looks nicer.

Looks great! I snagged one of these too, last week of Dec. Downside was my stock was cut down an inch, making the orange set even uglier. Upside was, only cost me $200 and had the elusive 18" barrel with ball detent. I kinda went the other way from Tacticool, grabbed a like-new walnut wingmaster stock set on ebay for $60. Needs a recoil pad though. Once i finish it off I may post some pics too.

mhc:

If I did not require a smaller package, I would have gone retro-tactical with wood furniture or simply painted the hideous stock black.

Full wood stocks make great bludgeoning devices.
