Hello all,

This is my first post, and my first K31 I just came home with. I paid $575 even and got the rifle (all matching #s, great looking figure in the walnut stock, missing a few small pieces towards the muzzle), 405 rounds of GP-11, 444 once-fired Hornady cases, 125 once-fired Prvi Partizan cases and 35 once-fired Graf cases. Also got 2 snap caps and 5 stripper clips (last picture) plus a sling. How'd I do?

Nice rifle and as far as I'm the best kept secret in the firearm world. I have three, and have owned as many a five at once. One of my current rifles is my High Power competition rifle and with it I routinely (every month)beat out several AR's.
If you're not a handloader and you don't need the Hornady, Prvi, and Graf's brass, let me know.

Man I love that Tiger striped wood.

I have been thinking about setting up one that I own with one of those Rigid? scope mount systems and making it my dedicated deer stand rifle.

Thanks for the kind words guys. I can't wait to shoot it. I absolutely love the action and the trigger on this rifle. Smooth as butter and a real nice trigger. I think I got a pretty good deal on it, I'm very happy with it.

Yeah, that's gorgeous. GP-11 is about 50 cent each now, so you did good. I bet you can make all the guys at the range drool, too.

Beautiful tiger stripes on the wood. You'll have fun shooting it. How about a range report later on?

That's a nice looking Karabiner. They are possibly the best made military rifle on the market. Out shoots the average M1A at one tenth the cost. The word is getting out and the prices have more than doubled in the past year.

For me the rifle was the cheap part, the diopter sights and other accessories cost much more than the rifle. Here's my 1934 made Karabiner.

Didn't take me long to buy a second Karabiner, to good of deal to pass up. This is a newer Beech stocked rifle. Ten stripper clips and sixty rounds of G11, original cover and sling.

That gun was one of the best built Karbines ever. They are hard to find in the condition that you have it in, but it will outlast most new guns. The metal use in it came from Sweeden and it is as good as it gets. Most of the work was done with hand, and all the stamping was done by one press, so they all are 100% identical, and it would be imbosible to make a copy it would just stand out.

K31's are excellent rifles! I've got 3 of them, just put a St Maries clamp on scope mount on one to see what it'll do. As I posted on another thread, I screwed up today. I passed on a NICE 96/11 with a matching serial # bayo for $350! I wish the dealer could have taken plastic, I would have owned it. Got his card tho, so maybe one of the K31's will have to go so I can snag it. Greg
