The lite has a bit of a flexy stock. It's strong enough - just a wee bit flexy in the forearm when you squeeze it. I was wondering if you could tape up the barrel & action and shoot some high density insulation foam into the cavity to stiffen it up - add something to squeeze against?
While you are in there, maybe add a second sling stud backed by a nut and washer for the bipod mount?
I have a T3 Lite in .30-06. It is a great rifle!!! Nice and light, and suitably accurate!! In fact, I'm entertaining thoughts of getting another one in .270 Win.
I don't know if they've changed the composite stock on the T3 Lite, but mine is 5 years old, and there in NO flex anywhere on the stock and you can't squeeze the forearm to notice any change.
The one I was messing with was last years model in snow/sage. You could definitely flex the forestock with a tight grip. I don't know if they changed the stock either. Would be interesting to find out? Still fit well to shoulder and in hand. I doubt it would make any difference in field performance? Maybe it was just that one?
