I just picked up this swedish mauser on gunbroker for $300, looks like it's all original, he said he believes the stock is too. I don't see any electropencil or import marks, what do you guys think? I'm very new to swedish mausers, like yesterday new, so please nit pick away. It's gunbroker auction number 116193212.

An all matching Swedish mauser is easily worth what you paid for it. A range plate on the stock would be nice, you can find these for sale occasionally. (that is my only nit pick). You will be very happy with this rifle. The Swedes are a cut above and yours appears to be among the best.

By range plate do you mean the disk? It has a disk, and it seems to be marked 2 and 3? I read that they almost always replaced at 3, what do you make of that?

A range plate is a rectangular plate that shows how to correct sighting at different distances for the new spitzer round. Not all rifles have this plate.
You are correct about the bore condition. However, a 2-3 marking only describes the bore condition, the rifle might still be very accurate with a worn bore.

A 3 marking has plenty of life left in it. When the barrel needed replacing, the disc was removed and the disc hole was filled with red wax to signify that it needed overhaul.

Sometimes I wonder how those Swedes get any work done, what with most of their workforce running home several times per day to make sure they didn't leave something on the stove (OCD, ya know). Gotta love those Swedes! :)
