for $29.97. Couldn't believe it.

Lowest price I've found available online has been gunbroker and they're going for about $45-60/box + shipping.

My local WM has a sign on the sporting goods counter that reads...

THIS IS THE AMMO THAT WE ARE OUT OF:

Below that line are several sticky notes with each round they lack.
I thought that was a novel idea, and I'm sure it was a better way of telling everyone, "Nope, no 9mm".

yeah no kidding... they have some Blazer brass 9mm.

No .380, one box of .357, and staggered rifle rounds.

Local gun shop had some PMC .223 @ 9.95/ 20 rnds... thought that was a decent deal.

They also had some PMC .45's... 50 rnds... $49.95??? Amazing.

Umm...Congrads! I am still amazed to see how much people rely on Walmart for ammo.

I generally find it when I'm not really looking for it, one of those "well let me swing by sporting goods, just in case" things.

I've actually quit buying ammo.

What Wal-mart did you go to? I'm in Clemson as well (in Columbia right now for work) and I've never once seen any pistol ammo in Anderson, Seneca, or Central.

My local walmart has ~ a dozen 100 packs of wwb and 4-5 wwb JHP's. Other than a box or two of .44 mag...that ALL the ammo they have in stock!

Man... I haven't seen a box of WWB 45 in close to 7 months at my Wal-Mart. I hope this means some will be starting to come back in.
I have started seeing 357 SIG and 357 Mag more recently.

Not that we "Rely" on WM but it sure does make it a lot more economical to shoot more in these tough times. My local dealer wants $34.00 for a 50 round box of .45 fmj's compaired to WM price of $29.97 for 100 round boxes.

Just a quick update, my local walmart just got a WWB ammo shipment .32, .38, .357, 9mm, .40 and .45!!!! NO .380 though! I just picked up 300 rounds of 9mm ($19.97/100).

Anderson. They are all out now :(

Lady said it was the first time they had .45's in in months. Probably won't get anymore in. Just got VERY lucky.

wish i would have seen that :)

Good luck in Mississippi

I have had good luck finding 45ACP and 9 mm around here. I even found 3 boxes of 100 .380 WWB not too long ago that i picked up for a friend of mine. I have not looked in a while, since i am prety well stocked with 45 and 9mm. The only thing i cannot find are 22lr bricks for my daughter's plinker. These i am searching for daily.

Just bought 100 rounds WWB .45 for $30 and 2 boxes of WWB 9mm for $20 each. I thought I'd check Wal-Mart just to see how quickly the pistol ammo sold out (I've never, ever seen pistol ammo at Wal Mart) and they had it in stock. This was a big surprise.

Yep, in Central I'm assuming. Saw a BUNCH there the other day... things are starting to look better. They had about 2,000 rounds of 9mm as well. Picked some up.

I just happened to walk by the ammo counter today in NH. A few boxes of 25ACP and the odd rifle rounds. I haven't seen 45 in some time. 38 special is non-existent. We use WM as the ammo source for our NRA handgun classes. But for the past few months that was no longer an option and we resorted to higher priced outlets. It will cause our club to raise the price of the course to compensate.

I just picked up 5 boxes of Remington 230s FMJ for $23 each and 4 WWBs 100s for $31.99/ ea.
To bad my .45 is a safe queen:what::neener::eek::evil:
