Just got my C&R !!!

I opened my mail today and in a rather nondescript envelope I found my new C&R license!
It took less than a month for me to receive it so I was a bit surprised when I opened it. Now to wait for the forms and instruction packet.

Even if it takes 90 days, once you've got it you've got it. You'll forget VERY quickly how long it took to arrive.

You might want to call and check on your application. After a month, I called to check on mine and there was no record of it. I was advised to re-apply. It was lost by either the USPS or the ATF. What's the common denominator here; oh yeah, government agency.

i'm terribly dissapointed

my cali c&r is darn near useless.

i've been told i can't buy handguns, i can't buy long guns in state w/o paying dros and 10-day, i can't buy guns that aren't on the CALI c&r list, and now they're talking about banning internet sales of ammo - which basically means that mil-surp ammo is out the door.

as a bone, i've been told that for a mere $75 more a year i can buy a certificate of eligibility that will allow me to skip the 10day on long guns - but still require me to pay dros fees.

Seriously, during the first two year I had my C&R, I funded most of my purchases via selling plasma. $200 or so a month can create a big pile of Mausers and Nagants in a fairly short time
