I just got a glock 22 with a lone wolf barrel, stainless steel guide rod, tru glow fiber optic front sight ,flared mag well and a worked over trigger ....all I can say is wow....and it came with 3 15 round glock mags :)

awesome, and congrats. Now practice, practice, train, train, and practice some more...............

There is something about Glocks. They're boring, unsexy, and uniformly clone-like in appearance.
But danged if my 21 isn't my best shooting, most reliable, first handgun I would grab given a choice. It shoots a rapid fire ragged hole at combat ranges, eats anything, has never had a failure to feed or fire, and breaks down for cleaning in next to no time.
If you gave me a big ol' wheelbarrow of money to buy and try other pistols, I most certainly may find one I like better.
However, on my budget and in my experience, it's going to take a lot to dethrone my Glock.
I hate it for making me love it so much.

Now you are G'ing Marine! The sub 2k and the 17 are a match made in heaven:D Have Fun!

Congrats Marine! Been shooting an old Gen2 G22 for several years and really like it!

Since you said it came with 3 magazines, I assume you got yourself a Gen 4.

Glocks are a lot of fun. Soon you'll have a Glock in every caliber.

I personally like the 17, 26, 21, and 30.

The 10mm Glock 20 is very tempting :D

Love my G23. I got two LWD barrels for it and shoot three calibers out of it. Carry is stock though. You will find that the Glock is the most reliable, ecomical gun you find for the money. Tweaking the trigger will run you about $15 a pop. Try that with a 1911, lol.

Congrats! I got my G22 last weekend. I love shooting it. I need to get the lone wolf conversion barrel though. 2 calibers in one sweet shooting gun.

has anyone had trouble with the screw in the guide rod loosening up??

Try some loctite.

Honestly, if it were me...I'd just order a factory recoil spring assembly. My glocks run just fine in competition or practice with a plain old factory spring.
