Just got myself a Vepr 223. Now, where do I get mags for it... HELP!!!

Hey, just picked up a spanking brand new Vepr 223. THe problem is that Robinson ARms no longer makes followers to convert AK74 mags into 5.56x45.
WHat mags will reliably feed Vepr 223? Bulgarian Circle 10 223 mags? Bulgie Waffle mags? Is it possible to put some other follower into AK74 mags to make them work? Please, help

I'm no expert, but Ive heard of people doing all of the above.

I would think Arsenal 5.56 mags would be your best bet.

As far as I know, the "special followers" were just for converting 5.45 mags into 5.56 mags. This was a few years ago, back when 5.56 mags were hard to find; thats not the case now. The 5.56 factory mags should be just fine.

Just so you know, Arsenal makes the "Circle Ten" mags, They are the same thing.

Calm down Sir. This really isn't any kind of emergency. There are plenty of places you can get mags.

Again I'd also say the Arsenal Bulgarian 5.56/.223 mags. The follower and feed lips are designed for 5.56/.223. I'd only but 1 or 2 to try first since they are not cheap.

The VEPR is made on a true Russian RPK receiver with reinforced trunion. Chrome lined barrel and chamber. They are considered one of the finest AK's available. Hard to find and $$$.
