another hijack

Just got my first batch of RMR 124gr FMJ. 500rds came in nice separate bags with 2 of jakes business cards and several RMR load tickets and also a neat little sticker with thank you and a smiley face on the back. I haven't shot these yet but they look good. if they shoot well for me I'm dropping extreme and berry's and using RMR from now on. I started with berrys and extreme cause I could get them local but id rather support a small business that obviously cares about customers like RMR does.

As another data point, the RMR 124 gr. FMJ bullets plunked just fine in both my SIG P226 and HK VP9 at 1.150. I did not try going any longer.

How is the seating consistency with the 124gr FMJ bullets you guys are loading. I can't seem to get mine as close as I'd like. The 115gr FMJ were super consistent (+/-.002), but the 124s run +/- .005 from my Lee dies. They still shoot great, just wondering if in need to get a custom seating plug for this die. Maybe I'm just spoiled from the other RMR bullets I've had. Is +/- .005 fine, or am I being too picky about it?

I am about same with you as I average less than .005" for 124 gr FMJ and less than .003" for 115 gr FMJ on Pro 1000 using resized brass and Lee dies with unmodified factory seating plug.

Yep, same as bds, I am getting about .005" variation.

What types of velocities are you guys getting with these (124 gr. FMJ and/or 124 gr. JHP)? Getting minor PF?

I don't understand how you get 1.135" OAL to chamber. I have to go down to 1.045" to chamber in either my Hornady cartridge gauge or the barrels of my guns. This understandably drives pressure way up (starting charge of CFE Pistol produced 1100fps from a 3.3" barrel). It doesn't seem to be my gauge - 115gr. Blazer Brass falls out of it at 1.16". I have the same issue with both Acme 124gr. RN and Precision 125gr. RN. All appear to need 1.045-1.050". What am I missing here?
Good to Go ammo company uses Acme 124g RN on some of their ammo. I have measured at 1.095.
The only other observation is much of the 9mm brass that has once been shot in a Glock has a bulge near he base that will fail in a chamber gauge or tight chamber. Make sure that you size your brass clear down to the base. In fact there are dies to fix this problem that are undersized.

I have range trip planned to do chrono testing with Alliant's new Sport Pistol along with my reference W231/HP-38 load with 4.3 gr.

I can post chrono numbers after the range test.

LOL :D

No. Actually, RMR's in-house manufactured 115/124 gr FMJ/JHP bullets' finished OALs are more consistent than Winchester FMJ and on par with Montana Gold/Hornady HAP/Zero bullets.
