With it's big brother the Glock 35:

My G35 by itself: I need a new camera that zooms better.

Last but not least:

Most likely the G23 will be a safe queen, but I need to clean it up and take it to the range this week. By the way...NEVER put a G35 barrel in a G23; there's a reason why different recoil springs are made for different Glocks.

Thanks.

I'd be very interested to hear your comparison of handling characteristics between the 35 and the 23. I'd would especially like to know if the Glock 35 has significantly less recoil than the 23.

A Glock safe queen? WTH? They are meant to be shot, carried, dumped in salt water, and dragged behind cars!! Why not shoot the snot out of it?

Maybe cause it's an OD. Frankly what I love about Glocks is that they are made for shooting. Could never buy one without wanting to shoot it to near meltdown!

exactly. I mean, I can understand buying a beautifully crafted, walnut and blued classic gun and not shooting it (think Colt Python, or vintage Hi-Power). But a Glock? People don't buy them for their asthetics you know.

But guys you don't understand. IT'S BRAND NEW! When I look at the G35 and how many rounds (5K+ and growing) I put in that thing without a problem...., um,....ah....hmmm....yeah you guys conviced me.

I'll take it out and bring back a range report with a comparision between the G35.

Thanks for convincing me. LOL!

I've had a 2nd gen Glock 23 since 1997 and have fired many thousands of trouble free rounds through it. You will love your new G23!

One note that I have found is not common knowledge, you can buy a drop-in .357 Sig barrel for it and use the same magazines and have a .357 Sig Glock whenever you want it.
