Just sighted in my new FNAR - any ammo experience?

Just wondering if any FNAR owners have any input on what type of ammo their rifle "likes".

I ran some Winchester 150 grains through it today, and it was 100% reliable and printed a ragged hole with an Eotech 552 at 50 yards.

However, it REALLY didn't like the Remington 150s or 180s that I tried - they had a bit of a flat nose, and 40-50% failed to feed.

Any thoughts or input? Anyone used any milsurp?

I roll my own but it likes SMK 175, and 168 Nossler custom comp works really well too at those weights. If your not a loader then try maybe some Black Hills or some gold match.

IMHO, most semi-automatics really work better with non-lead tips such as Ballistic Tips or the Hornady version. Key is having the least amount of lead exposed as possible, commensurate with what your trying to do.

FNAR loads

Do you, or are you planning to, reload your own ammo for your FNAR?

If so, I'd be interested in trading/comparing load recipes and target pictures.
