Hi,

I usually store my rifles with the bolt removed, I was wondering how to decock the K31 bolt when it's removed from the rifle. By turning the ring 90 degrees to the safe position, will that suffice?

That I don't know, do know pulling the trigger as you cycle lets you close the bolt uncocked
BUT I would think that it isn't cock with it out, as I believe it cocks on closing.

I went out to the range today. Popped 50 rounds off in the .308 and shot three cards with the 40X rimfire benchrest rifle. They were fun, but mostly because each is just stupid accurate for their intended purpose.

Still, to finish the afternoon off, I ran a few boxes of CCI Standard through my 10/22 and had a kick in the butt dancing shot gun shell hulls around the back stop. I hadn't messed with the 10/22 much lately because I had devoted so much time getting ready to shoot our rimfire championship (benchrest match). I had forgotten how much fun it was to shoot the 10/22. I really do believe that if I could have only one .22, it would be a 10/22.
