Kahr 40 Probs?

Bought a Kahr P40 on Friday and went to the range on Saturday. Very nice pistol. I was able to put shots in a 2 to 3 inch group at 7 yards. Accurrate enough for me. No FTF's or FTE's after 100 rounds. It definately kicks more than my other pistols(except my Delta Elite with full loads). I came home, cleaned it and headed to the range today. Dang, the slide locked back after every round. What could have happened? All I did was disassemble it, clean it and reassemble....wait a minute. After bringing it home I found that I had installed the slide stop with the slide stop spring under instead of over the slide stop...whoops. Back in business. Wonder if anyone else has had this problem with their Kahr. Kind of a bad design that would allow this but now I know.

i did the same thing on my p40. put the spring back on top and it worked fine.

Whew, glad I wasn't the only one. Should of heard me cursing up a storm at the range about my @#$$# new pistol. LOL
