I think it may be due to the interaction between the metal trigger parts and the respective frame materials.

I think it's more the slide fitment on the very thin steel rails cast into the poly frame. On my CW45, for example, you can see the front of the slide assy push up when you start to pull the trigger. The slide and barrel are locked up tight, which is what matters... but there are some looser tolerances elsewhere.
 
Just ordered a P380 to go along with my CW380. Could not resist the Price of $299 and fee shipping. Bud's has them for $569. However this one is Black. Would prefer the stainless, but for that price, no big deal.

You could always take the black finish off. That's what I would do if I wanted the stainless version.

Interesting, will have to see how it looks. Not even sure what the finish is. Will have to look that up.I doubt I would take off a good finish. Have a similar finish on other stainless steel guns. I plan on this to be a lifetime gun.
